Update 10 May 2021

A huge thank you for everyone's support in donating to the fundraising BBQ that was held at school last Friday.  We were able to raise over $1,800 that will go towards school related expenses for the family.  We were also able to supply the family with a new laptop and an internet connection so school work can now be completed from home.

On behalf of the family and Walker House, thank you for your generosity and support, it is greatly appreciated.

As you may know, a family in the school community tragically lost their house and all of their belongings in a house fire just before Easter.  The family is slowly getting back on their feet from the wonderful support by family, friends and the community.  In continuing to support the family, Walker House will be running a lunch time BBQ on Friday 7th May, raising money to purchase school supplies to support the educational needs of the family's daughter.

In order to raise enough money, I am asking if any families could generously donate sausages, bread or softdrinks to the BBQ.  If you are able to do this please let Chris Lake (clake@eac.nsw.edu.au) or Reverend Sally Miller (smiller@eac.nsw.edu.au) know.

The BBQ is open to both Primary and Secondary students.

$2.50 for a sausage in bread
$2.00 for a drink
