Volunteers

Emmanuel Anglican College is well supported by Volunteers. Parents, Grandparents, Guardians and friends make an enormous contribution to the daily operations at Emmanuel. If you would like to be involved there are numerous opportunities to volunteer including supporting reading and maths groups in primary, covering books for the Library, helping in the canteen, being a member of Friends of Emmanuel or supporting the varied fundraising activities.

Working With Children Check

All volunteers are required to have a valid Working with Children Check. Please go to https://www.kidsguardian.nsw.gov.au/child-safe-organisations/working-with-children-check for further details and to complete an online application. Once you have submitted the form, you will receive an application number.

You then need to visit a Service NSW (formerly RTA) office to submit your application number and proof of your identity. You must have both of these items for your application to proceed. You will receive your outcome and Working With Children Check number by email (or post if you do not have an email address). The College is required to verify your Working With Children Check. To do this, your Working With Children Number, or Application Number, needs to be provided together with your date of birth. Oncer verified, you will then be eligible to volunteer.
